Agriculture and Forestry University and University of Wyoming Partnership

In a significant step toward international academic collaboration, Provost Isadora A. Helfgott, along with John L. Koprowski, Dean of the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources, and Kelly K. Crane, Dean of the College of Agriculture, Life Sciences and Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming, visited the Agriculture and Forestry University in Rampur, Chitwan on 11/14/2025. The delegation was warmly received by Registrar Prof. Dr. Pushkar Pal, Dean of Agriculture Prof. Arjun Kumar Shrestha, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Sciences, Veterinary Sciences and Fisheries, and a team of directors for productive discussions on enhancing collaboration between the two institutions.

During the visit, both parties engaged in comprehensive discussions and reached a mutual agreement to foster a robust partnership focusing on three key areas: faculty capacity building, collaborative research initiatives, and student exchange programs. This partnership promises to create valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing, professional development, and cross-cultural academic experiences that will benefit faculty and students from both universities. The collaboration is expected to strengthen agricultural education, advance research in veterinary sciences and natural resources, and contribute to addressing contemporary challenges in agriculture and environmental sustainability in both regions.
